Just a ref for future eyes.
Have run into this a couple of times with purchased Moto an Tech V2 used calipers off Ebay,
the time and mess setting up hose and lever etc as an alternanative, you can
use a shock pump, the hose end connector to the lever will screw into the caliper
bleed hole and the other into the shock pump, a pad spacer and a few pumps should
see some movement, obviosly dont go daft with pumping away.
