Freehub bearing cone and adjustment washers, DIY?

I have a tool that I bought from eBay I think. Can take a picture later. It was cheap and from China. Normally it's just better to replace the free hub. With a new one and cheap to do but I had a 6 speed that are not so easy to find so bought the tool on eBay. As previously said though it's normally as bit of a case of raiding another free hub for the spacers.
 
Thanks all for the help. I fashioned a couple of shims out of milk bottle plastic and hey presto all worked surprisingly well!
