FREE sussy forks - dont get too excited.....(rehomed)

Rock Shox Reba SL. Dual air's. Picked these up off eBay about a year ago, bought in good faith, turned out to be just a bit knackered.

Stanchions are worn and severely corroded below the seals, modded them to run 80mm travel, which helped and tbh, they have never leaked oil, but now the negative air chamber wont hold air and i get about a 2 hour ride out of them before they are rock solid, i've had about 6-8 rides out of them.

Lock out works, as does the rebound (adjustment knob missing) they may be scrap and beyond repair but im physically incapable of throwing things away lol!

Any q's just ask, can post at cost, can be collected from Stourbridge area :xmas-big-grin:

would be interested in the damper - are they the crown adjust or remote?

yeah, that's the baby come to think of it my son has some mismatched lowers & crown on his uni bike forks & these would solve that issue to - pm me the cost to post to sunny bucks please

True, though that was before the forks I bought arrived and were knackered so looking to get them up and running in any guise.

The queue I was thinking of consisted of Dickyboy and ishaw not sure when I'll be down next but my old fella is in Stourbridge, just off the ring road on Brum side, so hopefully not far from you? If we visit in the new year I'll drop you a PM, see whether these are still teetering on the edge of the bin...

Sounds like both the guys ahead of me have better reasons to want them anyway - I'm just hoping to practice some maintenance without risking my 'proper' Rebas! Maybe get them to run a few more miles on a Frankenbike...
