i have just finished ripping apart the muddy fox,
i am rebuilding it with suntour components so i have no need for all the stuff coming off it
so for free here is
400lx 170mm right hand chainset only (left crank was cross threaded at the pedal thread) rings are steel, some life left by the looks of it.
400lx rear mech
400lx front mech 28.6 bottom pull
400lx (i assume) brakes
7speed 400lx sti units
pair of matching 7speed wheels and tyres/tubes etc
all seems to be in working order, the wheels have matching rims and hubs, need a little attention with a spoke key that i haven't done yet, hubs would benefit from a rebuild but are sound. the mechs are a bit beat up but functional. the shifters seem ok when they were on the bike but as they were set up with brake cable outer the gears didn't index correctly but they seem to have all their clicks.
the tyres are basic but look unused, plenty of rim wear left, the pads are worn but could be evened out for further use.
might be useful to someone for a hack bike
FREE TO A GOOD HOME BY COLLECTION FROM MY PLACE (new forest, southampton) OR I CAN BRING TO THETFORD ON SUNDAY
i would prefer it to go in one go if poss, just for ease, i can post it all if wanted, but would guess at £15 because of size/weight etc.
