I've had a stack of Raleighs, never had seat stays like that? Mitered into the seat lug, I could be wrong, never seen one with that bottom bracket either.FWIW , my two penneth ,

The photos ain't great but I suspect the Basso frame is built from the rare Columbus MS tubeset (check out the BB casting). If it is it'll be a sought-after frameset once restored, so the job lot could turn out to be a great buy.

Fair play m'lud . I didn't give it a close , close look {busy waxing} . I was basing my opinion on the pointlessness of faking a mid-low end mass production model , and it's not a bad fake .
