Curious about both your posts, particularly the second.

Nice bike, I've long been a ProFlex fan. Can you add some detail as to the reason for the frame change.

What's the difference in the frames?

Your lucky, the elastomers look to have held out very well. Mine packed in long ago.

Looks good though, you've obviously put a bit of thought into it.

proflex

my 857 turned out 2 be a animal so the 955 i bought off ebay it come 2 me with the bb stuck in the bb was a actiontec no tool 2 take it out so usaebay tuck 6weeks 2come2 me so bb out and the 857 waz no more my 955 i love the bike its a labour of love i know im crazy retro bike crazy

Good effort then. I've always found them to be pretty good riding bikes. Never actually seen another one where I am as well.

The elastomers are the only downfall I think as they will always deteriorate over time. It is possible to upgrade to springs, but I think this is getting harder to do since RDS closed its doors. Worth keeping your eyes peeled though for a set with a view to the future.

Nice bike though, enjoy!

nice one! Wasn't the line of the proflex add bitd "gravity sucks"? I always thought that was a good one.

That is a very rare bike indeed. Top of the line in 1995 for Proflex.
