Frame Protection Film

I think the best one you could use is something called Ceramic Film made by 3M or similar brand. It is usually expensive and used on the front end of cars to prottect the paint and the lights. It is perfect for the bottom of the frame, the fork and pretty much everywhere. Could potentially be used as a patch against hose rubbing off the paint or even chain guard. You could eventually use that for the most exposed parts and something cheaper for the rest of the bike in case you are talking about a 360 wrapping.

Thats the thing Chris, it doesn't look like shit aye it's tired and the paint would really benefit from with a t-cut and a wax but other than that and one or two paint chips it looks great for its age.
However the protection film that Dahon fit from the frame around the head set it coming away and curling at the edges and seeing as my daughter has taken a liking to it and shes not riding a scruffy looking bike when I can easily do something about it.

Thanks for all the advice folks, it really has been appreciated and the general consensus is 3M and the one that @highlandsflyer posted is the perfect width to do exactly what I need.

I passed LIDL on the way home with my new bike, but I hadn't a lock with me so couldn't go in! I need to stock up too, and online it says they have it right now.
