Frame Number help

Hi Guys,

Sorry my first post is a request but i need a bit of help!

Having just sold my Orange Mr 'O' i have acquired a new frame to build up something retro!!

Not that it particularly matters but i wouldn't mind knowing what the frame actually is!!!

Frame number is M8CA96871

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I shall keep posting pics as i build it up.

No idea but looks modernish(maybe 98-03) with the rear dropouts and the headtube angle looks like it might except largish forks. No disc tabs so either a base model or possibly to the earlier side of the dating. Obviously this is all needle in a haystack in the dark type stuff as I generally have no idea what I'm talking about, but thought I would reply anyway

What weight is the frame? Not that this'll help much either.

I bought the thing about 6 years ago from a car boot sale for a fiver!!!

At then end of it all its a nice frame so it doesnt. really matter what it is its just curiosity i suppose!
