New Old Stock (NOS) frame from the late 80s / early 90s.
The frame is a NOS Gios Compact 40th anniversary. Handmade in Italy, using Oria RANF tubing (Columbus SLX was also available at the same cost). Pantographs throughout, the workmanship and castings on this are stunning. These are often repainted and never the same. The decals are simply stunning and it includes the special 40th logo, they come to life when viewed in person and its hard to see the workmanship in photos alone. 53.5cm Seat tube, 53.5cm top tube.
The frame number is clear to see and it has the matching original forks. This was originally built as a full show bike with Campagnolo C Record in the Century Finish. It hasn't been used but it is 30 years old. There are minor marks from storage and the original build / dismantling. There is also an area on light rust on the top of the fork blades and middle of the top tube (last photo), both areas look fine for now but would really want touching in by a paint specialist.
This is a beautiful frame and will look amazing built up, a chance to own a rare bit of cycling history!
