Foz's loft clearout: all sold

Found the bolts for my XT V-brakes (BR M739) so am adding those here too. Very good condition, but they need either a shim kit or some zip ties to stop the pads wobbling. The clips that hold the pads into the holders aren't in the best condition either. Pads are red aztecs with some life left. Noodles, rubber boots and bolts with washers (not shown in pic) are included.

The early Vs with the parallelogram design just like these are notorious for developing play in the linkages that allows the pads to wobble/move up and down. Shim kits were available to take up the slack, but they were hard to find BITD and even harder to find now. The alternative is a ziptie, as shown here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=131907 and here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=64301
Even with a ziptie they're still some of the best looking V-brakes made (IMO, at least), and they work very well too!

Thanks, Andy

Ah yes, I know what you mean now. I've had XTR V's that had that problem. I've found some old Ritchey Canti's now so won't be needing them. Thanks for replying and good luck with the sale.

Thanks to everyone who has bought stuff or shown an interest. I won't be able to post anything from now until the middle of October, so have removed all un-sold items from the thread.

Thanks, Andy
