Nice pickup but personally I find the build pretty horrible. For a rider the mix of parts is fine but for something to hang on the wall I'd sell off some of the parts and put something more appropriate on. That's just me though and its yours to do as you please

Agree with the selling off of the 950 parts and replacing with NOS/VGC 900 stuff. As far as it's intended use, the Golden Rule comes into effect.

Great deal on that, given everything being practically NOS. but the math does not add up, as neither the frame nor the build match the year. i have a 94 and it's a 1" headtube.

The Merlin badge on the head tube would also suggest a later frame. I'd guess the build probably does match the year of the frame

Still a very nice find. Now go and get some mud on it
