And now, another "funky" BMW. The owner claims it´s a Q5 model (that sounds more like Audi ;-), and it's also folding, but there are no pictures with the bike folded unfortunately. The drivetrain is an electric Nexus, I used to have it on a folding bike. It worked good enough for commuting, mine had only 4 gears, it came probably in the mid-90s. Selling for 120€

Winora Screamer was not the only copy of the Manitou / Marin FRS concept.

There was even a Titan version, also no-name but quality wise a bit better than Winora and other cheap bikes out of Taiwan.
This should be a prototype from ABT (another german brand for cheap bike parts)

damn ugly, and that should had even BMW have realized before they started to let this produce in year 2000.
Indeed called Q5.T (although Audi had at this time already a Q5 model)



The MTB variant, "Q6" with Telelever fork looks a bit better, still nothing I would be very pride of


but hey, you can put it in the boot space of your BMW


Same like for the two older generations of BMW bikes:

1994 "Active", obviously based on Montague bikes


and 1996 on BMW "Super Tech" with Telelever
