looks easy to use but as above i always click wiew posts since last visit

Can't say I like it. More work for you mods to move posts around (see how considerate I am) and it seems like compartmentalisation for the sake of it. If you don't want to read a post don't read it. I'm happy to see all genres of cycling in one area rather than have to check each individual section. It's just easier to browse through, particularly if you're mobile.

The Area Groups separation makes sense tough as that's getting lots of use now. Maybe I'm just scared of change :)

Good to have feedback via all means crell :-D

As mentioned here and elsewhere one of the main aims was to give the road and bmx sections more space. For example in the unified classifieds and road or bmx bike would drop like a stone. This is one of the pieces of feedback I/we get consistently...

Are you adding more areas to the area groups? There seem to be quite a few of us "Wurzels" on the site ;)

I have dug out the original (and long winded) debate over in MTB chat. Reading back through it there is still much to be done, but I now think that 10 area groups should do the trick.

My proposal is

MacRetro
North East and Yorkshire
North West
East Midlands
West Midlands
North Wales
South Wales
Mid Shires
South West
South East

What do you think??

Keep the debate over on the other thread to keep this one on topic.

Cheers
Si

:(

In the for sale, wanted & ebay watch are we goign to have 3 seperate sections for this? otherwise its going to be messing and confussing for everyone.

It worked fine before..

I like it :D only thing I would add, is if we could get the modern stuff out of the for sale sections.

Wouldn't it be more flexible just to PM the guv'ner when you have established your own group? For example, BarneyRubble could send John a PM asking for the creation of a sticky to keep all of the messages between his "Wurzel" group in one place. And then John creates the sticky. This way, "areas" are created according to demand. :)
