Also as the is a scrape right next to the crack it certainly looks impact related.

It is still a beautiful machine though

Hi there on my ebay it was showing as a 'comments box' however after checking on my husbands machine I see it wasn't showing at all so have now done a complete new information box and I think this has worked .......

She'd struggle with 12mm!..


I assure you that 12mm is not similar to 5".

12mm could inaccurately be described as being similar to 0.5".

I am not uninterested in this but it does look like a bill from the likes of www.carbonology.com/ should be factored in.

Just to add, I was the chap on eBay who asked to see the underside of the bike, and advised against taking a cheeky low offer when it was first listed. And I for one thank MatBH5 for being so open with his findings. The crack is significant to the frame. It is likely repairable but the cost would have to be factored in and the originality would be compromised (which might be important to some collectors)

totally agree and that's why I immediately amended my wording on the EBAY site as it was NOT obvious or of course it would have been stated from the outset........anyway I know it will go to someone who is a 'fan' so that's perfect
