Fork length for a '95 Kona

Hi All,

Anyone know what the axle-crown measurement would have been on the Marzocchi suspension forks fitted in the Kona catalogue? I've fitted a slightly more recent P2 in the absence of such a fork, and am hoping it hasn't fudged the geometry. Current A-C is 410mm.

410 a-c should be fine. P2's were 390 a-c before suspension came in, and then went to 410 around 93/94.

^ What he said. 410 was the "suspension corrected" rigid. I've got 420mm P2s on my '95 and it's fine. Will get round to fitting a P2 one day

cheers, glad I don't have to fork out for another pair (pardon the pun). I think I bought them around 99/00 and strppied them back/when the paint got bad. Just got to apply some fresh. I'm guessing black is the way to go, but weren't they like a bronzy colour in the mid '90's?

They've been bronze and pewter in the past, as well as black.

The HeiHei came with XC 600, they have an A2C of 16 3/8" with 1 5/8" rake, they where 2" travel.
