Guys
In my wisdom  :? I bought a nice new steel frame off Ebay, I knew it didn't come with forks, but didn't realize the hassle of finding some to use with it. The aim is to build up a winter road/tourer/cx/gravel thing.
The size is 1 1/8 (pretty standard), but straight (so takes all tapered forks out of the equation), and offset of 43mm (I presume I can get near to this, but 10mm difference isn't going to kill me is it?) and axel to crown of 395mm (I presume this is pretty standard, i.e. a 700c fork?).
The frame is good quality and light weight, so looking for something to go with it. Alu/Carbon/Steel (I would like to keep the weight down where possible - before it ends up being a beast)
2 other important things, its needs to be disc, and take tyre clearance of 35mm or greater.
Will buy used, new, China, ebay etc.
Budget of £100
So any ideas?
