Like the ones found on Pace forks, and I think Cannondale used them too... some tektro or similar after market ones are still available.

Do they work? any problems with them?

Am having trouble with the cabling on my DY tourer and maybe one of these would do the trick

OK, sounds good then! I was worried they might make the brakes less powerful - this is on my DY tourer, modern tektro brake levers and suntour XC pro cantis, will probably install a brake booster too as when fully loaded it needs the brakes to work well!

OK, so I'm finally getting this bike built up and rideable, 18 years after it was last used...

Any tips for setting up the brake rocker thingy? I have the tektro version (I guess they're all the same though)

Quick hijack......Im interested in this too, as I've got a frame with no rear canti bridge (built for "v"s). It does have a brace with a hole in ......so.......any body tried it on the back?

I have a hanger like the origin 8 one, decided to go with the rocker as I wasn't convinced the hanger wouldn't be a bit flexy...
Will try setting up this weekend, I guess it's just a case in of setting the blocks, then the correct cable length to get the arms in position. Centering will be a pain, no easy adjustment as with a standard canti hanger

They really are easy.
See pic for....

A. Red.....One tektro thingy insitue with stx cantis, i was close to 17 stone at the time, had to be 'conscious' of brake forces. 😉.

B. Blue and yellow. Try line it up with canti arms so you get the most direct upward pull. Achieved with suplied spacers. You will have excess poking out the rear of fork crown, chop or cap-off as you see fit.

C. That's it. You then adjust the cabling like normal. Once you give the levers a squeeze you will see how the rocker articulates. Adjust canti arm tension springs as you ordinarily would for that balance of block to rim distance. 20211217_172509.jpg
