Yes the tange built version, licenced from bontrager switch blade, rather than the tange switchblade made by bontrager.....it the older, slightly heavier crown.

It was revised when production switched back to bontrager to look like this.....

As far as i remember, but i bought those 30 years ago, so its a bit foggy.

As far as im aware they are the same size......i can measure my blades if that helps?

The material changed slightly between models, the earlier ones were badged as "tange prestige" but that probably had more to do with the licensing, and tange wanting to promote the prestige name and tubing, rather than the mechanics!

If you build a set and ride them, just dont look down! Off road they flex a bit..ok........errr....lots!

Its so unnerving, that bitd, i took them off my race bike and went back to standard forks, as frankly they scared the bejesus out of me.

Now i dont ride that bike in anger, they are actually a nice ride.....still move about quite a lot, but they aint gone anywhere ....yet!

Instructions and service sheet age here...

Just dont forget that there were switchblade copies

These had 'Lung-I' on the legs

*'Lungi' or Lung-i' made BMX frames
