Fork choice for a 1991 Kona Lava Dome

Chaps Thinkin of putting some bounce on the old Lava Dome hack and can't decide on what for to use. :? :?
Have looked at Mag 21's and manitou 3's but still can't reach an answer on what to put on, i guess they have to be an american fork? ie not pace :cry: like i put on most of my bikes, so any advice and No No's will be greatly recived.

yeah agreed on the Marzocchis, I had a Kula with 'em but from memory they leaked alot... wasn't there some sort of linkage fork available on early 90' s Konas?

having the same thoughts for my 95/6 kliauea, got some bomber z3 lights which i was thinking about putting on, they work nice, but think they might be too chunky looking. was thinking about some xc51s (think thats the name) but not sure of the funtion or quality or travel. anyone used these or dh3s?? how do they compare to the bombers??

1991-1993 Konas - Rockshox I'm afraid.

1993 Rockshox were option if I recall correctly and I put Quadras on my 1992 era one as they were about the same time...

I think 1994 Marzochi took over fork duty with a swap back to RS Judys in 95 but could be wrong...
