Fork 80mm for 26 wheels and v-brakes SID or other

PQI

Retro Newbie
Dear All,

I am looking for a fork in order to assemble old Litespeed mountain bike. :D
26 wheels.
80 mm max.
V-brakes mandatory :D
The better condition as possible.

Models I would like to find : SID World Cup, SL, Race, Team. Or other models such as Marzocchi Marathon, Fox F80...
I am located in France, I will bear shipping cost if the seller is OK to ship.
Many thanks !

Re: forks

Hi I have a set of RS Sid Race 2004 with V and disc mounts, currently set at 63mm travel but could be adjusted to 80. Good condition and serviced by TF Tuned.

Re:

I have a set of reba forks. Originally world cups but I needed v brake mounts so swapped the lowers over to accomodate this. Still reba lowers, just not world cup lowers, the csu and internals are still world cup/carbon.

I've not used them for a long time, were on a garage queen sts build I barely rode. Cosmetically in good condition, I gave them a basic service before fitting them to the sts. They have a slow air leak, nothing an o-ring service wouldn't solve. They have 32mm stanchions, 1 1/8 carbon steerer and QR drop outs and have black v brake lowers. I think I set the travel to 80mm when I serviced them.

I would hang on to them as decent v brake lowers forks are now hard to find, but I have built a set of sid world cups from new old stock parts with v brake lowers so no longer need the rebas.

Re:

Dear both,

It would be possible to have detailed pictures of the SID and Reba ? And lenth of pivot ?
thanks

Re:

Here are some pics of my reba forks. Steerer is 195mm and straight 1 1/8.

Condition is good, a few Mark's here and there on the lowers, decals are pretty good, probably have some spare ones.

Stanchions have a few light marks on them but nothing that effects their use/performance. There is some discolouration which you can only see at certain angles. I think it is from when the forks (with the original lowers) were left without air and were compressed. There is nothing you can feel, just a faint line of colour where the stanchions were against the seals in the sane position I assume.

They have a very slow air leak in the positive air chamber. I am more than happy to change the o-rings and replace the air valve for a new one which would solve this. I had them on a bike I barely used so it was never an issue for me, but something I meant to fix at some point.

Only selling as I built a sid world cup from new old stock parts, and having sold a few bikes, I don't have anything that I can use these on, or I'd keep them.

Pics below. They should show the condition and any marks, if you need any other pics, please let me know.

Re:

Forgot to mention the remote lockout is included, forgot to include a picture of it.

Re:

Sorry I don't have a SID. Well actually I do have a SID that I'm currently rebuilding for my Litespeed Owl Hollow. Which Litespeed do you have? Hope you post pictures.

Re:

Hello,

My Litespeed is a Owl Hollow too. Built in December 1999 (info from Litespeed). With the "L" in the machined part on rear base.
I put yesterday brand new originals decals from the printer of Litespeed.

V-brakes, crankset, front derailleur XTR M950.
Rear derailleur and gripshifts Sram 9.0SL American flag colors.
Mavic 517 Specialized hubs, probably from S-Works bike.

Currently equipped with an old SID Race, but I would like to buy a second fork.

I will make a picture :D
