Foreigner's mainly British bikes collection

As per title, I'm quite partial to builders from these isles, perhaps because the mix of their skills and slight eccentricity or just because they are far easier to get than their European counterparts. I do like lugs, to me they add something special to any bike.

The ones below are part of my current 'stable:

1950 CB Olympic path
1959 Dave Davey single speed
1959 L Ephgrave (took it out yesterday and had a puncture - tubs are not for winter I'm told)
1935(?) EF Russ
1938/9 FW Evans
1951 Gillot (now as f+f only), repainted and repaired since & awaiting build-up
1950's Hetchins
1964 Pat Hanlon (now as f+f only)
1980's Willier (now as f+f only)
1950' Norman Pile (now as f+f only), repainted and repaired since & awaiting build-up

There are others, more modern ones plus few framesets that are waiting to be built, including 1990s Masi, 1960's Carpenter, 1960s JA Wilson, 2002 Interlock Scandium, 2023 Orro Terra C, 2006 Van Nichilas Euros Ti, 2023 Ribble CRG Ti, 1960s Wander (Italian), a Swiss 1960s track, 2015 Pinarello MTB etc. etc. Slowly but surely I'm getting to the point that I know what to keep and what to dispose of based on what suits me best.

Thanks. One day I went through all the brands I have or had and I think only letter Y and X were missing from the alphabet, so it seems I am drawn to anything really...

I think it's a great thing with our hobby that we have such a choice and try many things. These two though tickle my fancy the most:

Proper collection. I'll ask my colleague at work if he can help tie down the date on your EF Russ. His grandfather was EF Russ and they might have some documentation knocking about.

Terrific collection. I especially like the Dave Davey and the Wilier. The restomod on the Hetchins is very nice too.

Beautiful. Curious about the stem on the Ephgrave--is it a lugged steel stem?
