My hoped for poets all night owls, their efforts had composed.

Three oddly shapen small affairs of smooth and shiny metal.
For builders bodgers buyers boxes, hands perchance to fettle.

And so to choose a victor or just return to slumber?
Alas not one dear poet soul thought to include a number!
