Raleigh Dyna-Tech Team Issue 1993 (ex Adrian Timmis)

Size 18” C-T, 17” C-C.

Materials are metal matrix main tubes with a titanium rear end. The lugs are a mixture of steel and aluminium. The forks are Spinner made and are steel. Paintwork is in good condition with some scratches, chips and touch ups as you might expect from a bike raced at the highest level.

The group set is completely Shimano M900 with the exception of the front hub which is a first edition Hope titanium unit. The rims are almost new and are Weinmann Bontrager BCR 1 and 2 units as used by the team BiTD. The cabling is Shimano SP-41 XTR throughout.

The components are mainly titanium with a ti USE post and X-Lite ti bars. Most of the nuts and bolts on the bike are titanium also. The stem is a black Syncros unit and the saddle a titanium railed San Marco. The controls also feature X-Lite pro bar ends with ti bolts.

The tubes are Continentals’ finest, as are the tyres with 1.9” Cross Country’s fitted (not the Specialized ones shown below).

Selling this with a very heavy heart, without doubt the fastest, lightest (21.5lbs) and most historic bike I’ll ever own. I‘ve endeavoured to restore it back to its original spec. The sale also includes a full Raleigh team strip (c/w David Bakers‘ race shirt), numerous magazines in which the bike features and some spares. Reason for selling is me finally accepting i'm too big for it

The price is £895. I’m willing to post to UK, however collection is very welcome, as is delivery to any RetroBike National Event or NWA ride. May consider a swap for complete bike of similar era (19" C-T) or swap plus cash. SOLD

A dream machine right there! And, with all of the provenance, a ridiculously good value package!!!

If I hadn't just paid out for paint and trim for my showcar build, this could very well have been hanging on the wall in my dining room!!!!

GLWS fella! ;)

Nothing found, thinking of investing the funds in welding and brazing equipment, then making my own frame.

Let me see how much money I turn over this month..... Would be a good one to hang in my reception area over the espresso bar.

Blimey Mark, for a moment there I thought I was seeing things.

But it seems you really are selling

Keeper sprang to mind, but I guess if it's too small

Always though it would be a keeper, but it sits in the garage unused these days. It will be greatly missed but hopefully it will find a good home.
