For Sale - Paul Donohue 853 TT frame based resto mod build

Steviejuk

Retro Newbie
I am having to reluctantly sell my bikes following a permanent hip injury had consigned me to just pedaling to the shops and not much more.

Paul Donohue bespoke Renolds 853 TT 1" headset frame, sourced from a local 'old' cyclist that was made late 90's , early 00's. I had the original fitting instructions and bill but it appears to have been cleaned up at some point. I had the groovy metallic purple and gold paint blasted and the frame powder coated white - came with the 1" Mizuno composite forks as photos.

I build it up with modern bits:
Eatson wheelset (destickered)
Sram Rival drivetrain
Sram Apex brakes and Apex double tap brake / shifters
Ritchey bars and seatpost, Deba stem. Charge Spoon seat.
I used a headset extender as it was a bit low for me
Frame top tube effective length 55cm, seat tube length 52cm.

Breaks my heart to sell this as its now a lovely all day bike to ride , but its no use me hanging onto it.
I'd like £350 for it, but am open to sensible offers.
Collection preferred from Ipswich area but delivery can be arranged.
More photos are available on request.

Re: For Sale - Phil Donohue 853 TT frame based resto mod build

You might find it easier to sell if you advertise it as a Paul Donohue, and not a Phil. And it's definitely not late 70's / early 80's - more like late 90's / early 00's... looks in nice condition though, don't think it will take much to sell.

Ah. I see now, from a different post. Can you not edit original post to add it there? A bit confusing for a blind old sod like me.
