I posted this in "For sale 1998-->" but probably it is better placed here:

For sale my treasure: my beloved Merlin Extralight titanium 1998, "fairly" mounted

Frame: Merlin Extralight Titanium 1998 size 57
Groupset: Campagnolo Record titanium 10 Speed complete (even headset and bottom bracket)
Seatpost: Campagnolo Chorus Titanium laser logo.
Saddle: Selle Italia Flite Evo (titanium - carbon)
Stem: Cinelli Grammo titanio 120 mm
Wheelset: Campagnolo Neutron & new Michelin PRO3.
Fork: Steelman (delicious)

No pedals

New set of "Extralight" decals are included. The Brooks cork bar ends have been substituted by Merlin bar ends.

2.400 € that are 2.016 £

This bike won "bike of the year" contest in Spanish forum foro.bicisclasicas.es (lots of us are Retrobike members also). I have no feedback in Retrobike, but any spanish Retrobike member probably knows me as "bisho"

 We have lovely roads, amazing tracks, golf, sea & sky for you!!! Come and visit!!!

Pictures were taken in september, anyway. Now it is quite windy here, so I prefer mountain biking ;)

Ok, it is good weather here, I cannot deny it... look the river completely dry

Lovely bike, lovely weather (even if it is a little windy LOL), can you guess just how jealous i am????

Good luck with the sale!!!

I should add, our rivers have not dried up yet - they have flooded surrounding fields - but not dried up - might be a while before they do.

Thanks for turning me green!!!!

Late reply as only just joined forum!

Stunning machine! Too small for me but I am looking at an identical larger one.

Can you tell me if they have a standard 68mm English threaded BB? Also for that age, I'm assuming the head tube is a 1" diameter?

Thanks!

Rog
