For Sale: 1994 Kona Lava Dome, Large,

Hi all, so my first post on retrobike is a for sale on my newly acquired 1994 Kona Lava Dome (hopefully this is the right place to find a buyer for this awesome piece of steel).

I bought it in the hope that it would be big enough, but alas, my 6ft7 gunt just doesn’t sit right on it (I reckon 6ft 4 would be the max).

So, the bike (see the pics) the specs are as below, its in very good but used (as a mountain bike condition-scratches etc).
Frame: 19.5inch race light (the largest one they did)
Fork: Kona P2
Front Rim: Wieinmann 2421
Front Hub: No idea
Rear Rim: Ambrossio
Rear Hub: Shimano STX
Tyres: Specialised Cross Roads
Shifters: Deore thumbies
Front Mech: Shimano STX
Rear Mech: Shimano LX
Cranks: Shimano Deore Hollotech
Saddle: Original Race Light
Stem: Original velocity stem

All in all its a cracking bike, I wish it fitted me, but I’m much to big in general.

I’m open to offers (or swaps – if you have a massive, preferably steel, preferably rigid MTB that’s just too big for you let me know).

I can also deliver anywhere from Alnwick to Edinburgh for £10 most days of the week, and I travel regularly to Staffordshire and Aberdeenshire so let me know!!!

I was watching that on eBay. Forgot it was finishing and I missed it. It looked in good nick too.
Bontrager used to make an XXL in the Race and Racelite versions.
Top tube 25" Recommended height 6'5" - 6'8"
I don't remember seeing one in that size for sale though. If you do find one there won't be many takers.
