Folders! Foldable bicycles, minivelos and demontables

After touring a few days in Spain using trains, and with the severe restrictions on Eurostar, I am considering a 20" folder for rail/bike tours. Plus it's also n+1 of course!

My wife's Dahon is quite a nice bike.

I want hub gears and disc brakes.

I also want sex and drugs and sausage rolls.

I will get neither of these options.

Discs and hub gears? Nexus hubs are available with discs

I say drugs, I mean lemsip.

not wrong with Disc brakes, but that's a discussion for another day, back bikes with hinges.

We do indeed. Putting it in a Brompton and touring with it deserves a lot of credit though, well done. Hope we will eventually see some pics.

It might be a while, I am in India until the end of March and cannot access the photos on my camera until then.

yep, they just never come up second hand or at sensible money (I now expect a hundred fleebay links).

I have never seen one in a bicycle actually. Bit of and odd combo to me. Better than roller brakes though.

me either, but it's a option that sort of makes sense to me as a single speed idiot who wants to try gears without all the faff and mess of derailleurs and crappy chain lines.
