Looks solid and for 30 quid you can hardly go wrong. Keep us updated on progress.I have decided to try another folder after I found a Decathlon one I tried had too short a seatpost for me and passed it on.
Last night I picked up an unbranded one locally for £30. I took a punt as it had some similarity with folding bikes like the Carrera intercity and other cheaper mass produced examples. I suspect it was obtained via an online retailer or marketplace.
So far it looks well worth the money and I will give it a good going over and tweak it here and there over the next few evenings
So far it looks to me like someone bought it on the web, failed to set up the brakes properly and left it in the shed to get dusty and suffer a little storage damage.Looks solid and for 30 quid you can hardly go wrong. Keep us updated on progress.
That should be an easy fix?It folds up quite well too. However I wonder if the stem and bars are on wrong as they fold between the 2 halves of the frame??
I suspect so? Might just be loosen a bolt , rotate the stem and tighten up again, then adjust the bar and bar furniture? That should be an easy fix?
I think soI suspect so? Might just be loosen a bolt , rotate the stem and tighten up again, then adjust the bar and bar furniture?
Undo the allen screw which is the expander (If it's like the Dahon), turn round so they fold on the other side.I suspect so? Might just be loosen a bolt , rotate the stem and tighten up again, then adjust the bar and bar furniture?
