... except than a disc caliper on a steel rotor can stop you in the rain, whereas a caliper brake on steel rim in the rain, reach for your prayer beads, they work better

well thats the idea im throwing around in my head, swapping the steel rims to modern alloy and have been hunting every where, for a fork, that canti bosses in a head or quill, with a long enough 1¨ stem, cant find nothing, wanted an alloy fork, but think i will end up asking argos to fit bosses, while they mod the crank.
