2.0 bonkers with bronze walls would have been my choice. Fit with the saddle.

That would have looked good, the pink background detracts rather than adding. Colour is personal though. I have no problem with a pink bike though.

This has been on the forum before somewhere. Here seems a very good home for it though.
I found this bike on the side of the road awaiting its fate with the scrap metal men that endlessly do the rounds here. It looked like it had been stored outside partially covered with a tarp or something. The rear was very rusty with the rim a goner and the paint on the rear mostly gone.
I built my first ever wheel and de-rusted and painted the black back. Everything else was salvaged. Mudguards were straightened and the Sturmey hub dismantled and rebuilt with a couple of new pawls.
I really like the back rack.
I am pleased to have rescued this quirky little bike. I fitted a larger sprocket to lower the gears for my mum to use. The bike is still used to cruise between Dartington and Totnes along the cycle path to collect shopping and avoid the terrible Totnes traffic.
