Sometimes I like to use clipless pedals, some days I feel like riding flat pedals, all depends where I'm riding.
I have some Specialized BG comp Clipless shoes, which are still functional but getting tired.
I have some airwalk trainers which flex too much and the sole gets shredded by the flat pedals pins.
Ideally I'd like something I could use for Clipless or flat pedals, Shimano AM45 springs to mind but how good are they on flat pedals?
Five Ten shoes get good reviews, but they're for flats only?
Or should I get some flat specific shoes and stick with my specialized Clipless ones until they need replacing?
Anyone have views, opinions, or experience of this conundrum?
