Fitting Hydraulic Lines to a Pace

Before I embark I figured someone here would know an easier way ( the proper way ) to affix braided hydraulic brakes lines to a Pace F7 with RC31 forks. I am fitting both front and rear brakes

Thanks

Re:

I did the same thing on my RC200 F6 as I didn't want to drill out the cable stops.

For the rear I used something like this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BBB-Hydroclam ... 35d66e2643... although I swear mine were made by Hope?? :?

I also used one of these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BBB-HYDRO-C-C ... 3ce3fbfe83... on the seatstay to keep the hydraulic hose in place. There are lots of variations of the stick-on hose guide around, most of which are slightly curved to fit conventional tubed frames, but I had no problems fixing them to the Pace's square Tubes.

For the forks you could just use those stick on guides again, one stuck to the rear of the fork leg usually does the trick.
If your fork has brake bosses for canti brakes then you could use some of these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hope-Fork-hos ... 20e84ecac5... they seem to work well on older suspension forks etc...
You could use one of the canti bolt hose guides above on the rear, but I found it made the hose kink inwards and just didn't look right.
In the end I removed the rear canti bosses from the frame completely, they're easy enough to just unscrew.

Thanks for that. I'm trying to find out more about these hyrdoclamps... do you have a link to a picture of them in actual use ?

Re:

The BBB metal ones?
They clamp around the cableend stop and the screw clamps the claw clamp into position at the same time.
Mine, whoever made them, doesn't clamp Magura 5mm plastic hose. It'll probably be perfect with 6mm.
I'm going to shim it so it stops moving around in it.

Used on a Pace by the way.

Search bcb 92 for the BBB ones

Ive bought some hope braided hose. I got the part where they clamp around the hose but just wanted to see in a picture how they affixed to the frame - can't get a good visual on the actual finish

Re:

Mine like this, could be better as it rests on the weld both front and back stops.
