Fitting grips

Weldtite degreaser spray.

To get them off, to clean the bars and to stick them on.

Only product I have tried that has worked consistently and fast, every single time.

boil the kettle, pour water into a mug, leave grips in there for a few mins then slide them on.

Hairspray works, cheapest old skool type, works best plus you'll lose originality authenticity points otherwise

I used motorbike disk brake cleaner the last time I fitted grips. Mainly because it was within reach in the garage when I was doing it.

Yep! No problem at all!!

GT85 works just as well, but has the bonus of smelling nicer too

I tried WD40 (or a cheaper version) on a bmx yesterday. worked a treat. always used to use washing up liquid before never again. could not get grips to stay still. tried wd40 and grips stuck well.

wd40 or tf2 have used both for years, just wait about 15 mins before trying to twist em and they'll stick like glue

Renthal grip glue.
I can't be doing with grips moving around so I always glue the buggers.
