Hi guys, picked this up today on eBay. I know nothing about Fishers pre Trek or otherwise. Any ideas on year, reviews etc. Any help greatly appreciated

No worries buddy. You're 1st in line. I'd only want postage money for them. That said I've not picked it up yet, I'm getting it tomorrow evening. Pics can be deceiving, it could be battered. Looks tidy enough though, from what I can see.

Hmmmm look out for cracks. Very stiff ride. Early 90s.

Yeah I'd seen the issues regarding cracks etc, I'll have a look over tomorrow when I get it. I can't decide if I actually like it yet, looks tidy enough though

It's a 91 for sure. I owned one originally from 91 to 96 and bought another one a few years ago. I have all the parts for the resto, I just need some time to complete it. Yours is all original spec except for the stem, bars and tyres. They came with Fisher stem, bars and Fat Trax tyres. What are your plans for it.

Just picked it up and it's not bad at all. Bottom bracket is a little ropey so I'll replace that. The unfortunate thing is its ever so slightly too small. It's a 19" frame but my previous retros have been marins and konas and they seem to fit me better. That said I'll need to take it on a ride to get a real feel. It's a very nice quality bike though, 1st I've had with suntour bits and they don't seem half bad.

Nacks to it, I'll sell it and keep my eyes peeled for an Indian Fire Trail
