Went to see where the river which runs through my town has its origin.
It was my first mountainbike ride in over a decade so i thought i share these two pics of this wounderful day with you all.
I learned two things: Uphill sucks and the second one i forgot..
The good thing about uphill is you don't need riding technique skills. That was the second thing i learned that i now remember again. When we were going downhill real fast i thought the whole time i have no clue what i'm doing..but hey i survived.
I really haven't thought about a second ride. First my behind has to stop aching.
All my 4 retro bikes are in bits in the man cave so i really try not to get me another one of those.
The bike in the pic wasn't even my own. It belongs to the father of the chap i was riding with. This man is 71 years old but he has some modernish clip pedals on his bike which is fun to ride without the matching shoes.
The place where we started is called Scharnitz. 10 minutes from Garmisch at the German/Austrian boarder.
