Not quite accurate. He is believed to be the first soldier killed in battle. They still think it could have been friendly fire though :shock:

First british soldier to die during ww1 was Arthur Rawson.

Just found out HMS Amphion was sunk by a german mine before that killing 150 sailors.

Was at a memorial parade today with my daughter marching with the brownies. There were noticeably more people this year than last, not sure why!?
