Progress... Starting to look like a bike already

The stem was Alkon branded and quite scuffed / bruised. Removed the anodizing for a hand polish - to match the condition of the other components. Turned out well in my opinion!

Seating department a white logo Flite with a setback 2-bolt post (brand is unknown to me)...

Now looking like this:

Next up will be controls...

Finishing most likely this weekend - only cable setup and some final kit (the Shark Fin, XT Pedals, XT Chain, grips) still to go

I do love an old Dale frame. Always wanted one BITD, but too poor a student to get one. Still not scratched that itch, but I do have (and love) a CAAD5 roadie.

Great job on the stem. How long did it take to get it like that? I assume not entirely by hand.

And lovely selection of components. Mint or almost mint condition stuff for a showroom ready bike. Lovely!
