Finding the year of my Raleigh

I'd say 86-7, sure I had an 85 with the more 'bubble' type font

This all helps me narrow it down. I've seen the '84 in a catalogue so i know it isn't that.

The number on the bottom bracket is "63118".

Now not being a guru on most things, Im guessing, but the http://www.kurtkaminer.com/TH_raleigh_serials.html page could be a start, looking particularly at 1983-1986+ Raleigh USA Serial System

With what others have said about their bike dates, I'd stab at an 86-87 bike

check the stem, should be a two number stamp on it

Stem and bars are original, but can't find a number.

Not trying to sound stupid, but US versions were different, right?

Update: Seems on a cleaning spree, and putting in the new seat and post, i discovered a number at the top of the seatpost tube, at the back...

[EDIT] Upon looking at the serial codes someone linked, i'm guessing it's a November 1987, Nottingham built Raleigh. 8519th one made!
