Given his predilection for Bugattis, Lamborghinis and Ferraris you'd think he'd go for something a bit sportier than that sit-up-and-beg hybrid. Something Italian, hand-built and light. (But then, he would still be the engine . . .)
Maybe he was attempting to be discrete on his home journey. You can't be discrete in Bugatti can you. It would be the death of him to ask James May what an italian, handbuilt, lightweight bicycle is. But you never know, i've heard stranger things have happened. Who would believe that I own a Saab and it's my 2nd. If someone had suggested that to me 30+ years ago i would have replied that you were mentally impared. Now i know differently.
