 Sandman

Can't wait to see it done. Did the Chief share the same paint job styles as the Warriors?
It had the same decal set so I would assume they were similar however I can find no examples or photos to speak of. Hopefully Tom can be of assistance.

 looking forward to seeing this one, do you have a paint scheme in mind?

I have no clue what to do. I have not seen the decals yet so I will wait until I see them to think about it. There is one other person that I know of that has a Chief and I have asked to see pics of his. I never cared for the crazy colors that came on the warriors but I want to remain true to the original.

Good for you Sandman! I had bid on this early on. Glad to see it go your way.

same here...went cheaper than I thought it would.

Interesting you say that but the history of Warriors as MrK attests is to sell very low. His bike, another and the previous few I'd seen which were in NOS or excellent condition have all gone for very low figures, far lower that this one. They're not that widely sough after / collected / known - but I love them.

There's quite a few examples of warrior photos on here sandman - most were dayglo paints, but there are some moremuted ones as well. Getting a paintjob like an original multi coloured one could be expensive.

I agree, I had a Warrior before I got bit by the collecting bug. Sold the frame for about 100 dollars and it was really beat up. I think the price I paid is pretty fair for both parties and the fact that this is one of 5 made makes it pretty unique. Plus getting it directly from the master himself is pretty cool.

This wasn't an ordinary brave; that's why I said that. Perhaps it was too raw for most...it's a fillet brazed TeT made frame...not bad for $200 imo.
