Fill drilled holes in Swing arm??

Id fill it and the dent, sand sown and paint.

You need to come up with something to stop filler going inside the swing arm.

Would it matter if a bit went inside?

not at all but how would you stop all of it going inside as you apply the filler? a small piece of mesh over the hole perhaps?

and yes, it won't make it any stronger nor fitting in any bolts - the holes are a source of a stress fracture but the swingarm looks chunky enough to take it.

the proper way would be to fill it with aluminium alloy by tig welding - assuming the heat does not affect the strenght.

Any chance of a photo without the tape? Were self tapping screws used, or regular bolt (a thread will probably be visible in the metal)?
I'm assuming that the holes don't go through both sides of the swing-arm?

Could a bigger one be put on or was this the spec. Seems a bit loose to me (it can tighten well though?

Crikey, some people shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a drill.

I think your options are (in rough order or complexity)
1. Put the tape back on and hope no one notices
2. If you want it to look pretty, then epoxy (Araldite) some dome head screws in - pro-bolt.com do a range of colours and sizes.
3. For a proper job, and as '02gf74' said, get it welded up - consider rectangular plate over the top for structural integrity, then a splash of paint.
