Far better than that ratty old THM Gran Sport thing that goes on for pages and pages with little or no hot bicycle action.

1984 531 Competition frame and forks

Later 6400 600 Shimano mechs and shifters, 600 hubs on Rigida rims.

105 brakes and chainset/ BB

SR Aero seatpost

Nitto forged stem

Paint isnt great but as the frame came with replacement decals, this wont be too hard to restore.

I would guess that this was upgraded from the original equipment with only the stem and post left as original, when I got it it was a mix of old world 600 and 'new' 600.

No plans just yet but may move my 10spd Ultegra over eventually.

Nice. I was watching this one on eBay out of curiosity as I've got one as my summer ride. It's a 1985 model as the '84 was green.
Originally came with suntour cyclone ii and weinmann brakes.

He might have a point THM...snow swept vistas and moody sunrises aren’t really cutting it, when all we want to see is you showing off your paint skills!
