there are just as many keen women cyclists as blokes, and there are just as many women drivers as blokes... but to find any of them discussing matters on a forum, is a rarity.

There used to be a reasonable;y sized group of woem rode the 'Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross Assciation' races when I did them, having not raced for about 2 years I can't answer for now though.


However, on the running side of things, I'm sure that we have more female members than male in the Club :?: (we're a reasonably sized club @ 120+ members)

It certainly seems that way when I have a quick head-count on run-nights

Ah yes, there are a few of us - I've racked up almost 1000 posts now and have a few retrobikes!

Like one of the other posts I didn't let on for a while that I'm female which was actually quite fun!

Not hugely active right now owing to work and family commitments but hoping to get back into it later in the year.

Apart from a few sexist comments when I first joined ( which the mods sorted out) I've found this a very accessible forum and I've had good fun on rides and events although invariably last and more wimpish than the lads!
