Hi All,
Picture the scene. Post ride, sat in the man cave with a cup of tea and an epiphany strikes... The obvious likeness of my two favourite MTB's hanging from the ceiling. This could read like a DNA signature that goes deeper than the paint.
Curiosity now got the better of me, so whilst on the phone to Cotic on an unrelated matter I ventured a question to Cy (owner, proprietor of Cotic). What's your motivation/inspiration for the Soul? The unprompted reply included a deep respect and fondness for...Fuquay!
Does anyone else see a 'development thread' across time, especially across different brands. On reflection, I think this might be prevalent across FS designs, but rigid frames and smaller players? I can only come up with Paul Brodie and Kona after a quick trip down memory lane. Can anyone else arrive at any names?
Maybe, I've stumbled across a new 'separated at birth' criteria for BOTM? If it's a good idea, I'll suggest it and 'throw my hat in the ring'.
