FatBike - Squatch

Been riding this a fair bit now - loving it.  Seems to be able to handle just about anything that you throw at it.

The paint is great - the guys at Capitol have hand painted the graphics in what looks like an enamel outline/fill then the candy red is over the top.  The Red is great to look at but not loving the Gloucestershire mud - the top tube has scuffed up and lost it's shine. Out with the heli tape until the summer I think.

The frame bag is a bit of a revelation too - no more back pack

Entered for the Battle on the Beach - now with Fat Bike category so roll on March, few more pics:

My boss bought one (a Pugsley) that I modified with SLX 10 speed shifters, XTR rear mech. and Shimano Hydro brakes. He says it´s the best fun he ever had on a bike. Coming from him who is a former Triathlete and current mountain bike team owner, it says a lot.

There great fun, quite fond of the colour of that one mine, real nice.....though prefer the muddy pics!

Re:

I was overtaken at speed by Coleman at HONC yesterday and the noise those tyres make is amazing.

The guy I was stuck behind at the time nearly shat himself as he was passed.
