I am feeling purge-y. Gotta pare down, get some room to breathe, man. BREATHE!

Ok, maybe not that dramatic a situation. But I am thinking about thinning. So, if you please, give me a nudge. Both bikes are Somerville '91s with similar fit and press-in BBs.

Option A) keep the Wicked

It's done. It rides great. It was a fun project. More of a rider, condition-wise. Period-correct build.

Option B) keep the Monster

It's still in process. It *should* ride even better (since I like Yo's). It is in much nicer shape. More of a mix in terms of parts, age-wise.

Option C) keep both, dumbass

unless you need the cash, space, (meaning they leave you no room to walk around your home), or fear becoming a hoarder, (what?!?!), I pick "C".

Seriously, complete the Monster, and then decide. I always regret selling a project prematurely. Not so much after I'm done, and see I have better.

I have to admit that I was tempted to click the sell the Monster button as I would love it myself  but in the end I'm going with keep both and sell the modern :)
Is the Monster a M/L or L?

Option C) keep both, dumbass

It's a tough one ,I agree with the sentiments above, if you can keep them both and sell something else do that, both are great bikes.

Wicked, these are great bikes, they handle well and Ive done more miles on mine than any other Fat.

Monster, another great bike, rides very nice, seems allot rarer, esp in the colour, how many in Pepto pinks do you know off still in use ,3 ?.Ok so the condition maybe better than the Wicked, but thats no reason not to use it.

Looking at your two bikes in question, I think the Monster is the better looking bike, seems cleaner, would change out the red saddle(just my personnel thoughts)looks good with the groovy fork too.

here's my two, if I had to choose one to sell, it would be the ..........

impossible

Thanks for weighing in! Have to admit, I voted C.

I'm feeling like I want to eliminate "redundant" bikes....crazy, I know.
I guess the best plan is to get a leg over the (finished) Monster and then reassess :)
