FAT CHANCE TITANIUM 1993 Fully Blinged out m/l

It really is. These frames are arguably the pinnacle of ride quality for the time, and this is a great build.
As mentioned it’s sad but inevitable that it’ll probably not be properly ridden again

Overheated pricing has taken hold in all commodities markets, so if you're laundering some soon-to-be-worthless money, by all means.

I'm happier with the welds on my 94 orange. Sandvik, 20240613_202045.jpg the retailer told me.
It looks a little less artisan.
£1600 rrp, around $2500 iirc

Mate you have triggered my welding OCD now 😅 Here’s my 94 FAT Ti head tube with flawless first pass welds on externally lathed double butted custom gauge Ti tubes. The down tube has a larger diameter for extra rigidity. Sandvik welds were always neat but they used plain gauge in their early 90s frames. They were too flexy for my taste climbing and descending, though comfy otherwise. The almost invisible tig welds on my first FAT an 89 Team Comp totally blew me away when I first unboxed it. Its a bit like nitpicking a C section scar on a beautiful woman.Who really cares. Enjoy the ride 🤗 IMG_8816.jpeg

That's more like it!
Quality job on yours.

The original pictured one doesn't look right for a top spec frame - I'm surprised it passed quality control at $3k - unless it's been repaired since.

I've never seen such a poor weld in a fat chance.
