Fat Chance Ti 😳

Single pic is fair enough I reckon. No potential buyer is turning away for lack of photos. @M-Power would obviously assist anyone serious

Surely self limiting an already VERY limited market isn’t the way to sell something.

Lots of pictures , list of spec , describe its condition - is the way to sell anything. Buyers don’t want waffle or to chase pics and info.

The price of a Rolex is crazy to most but plenty of people want and can afford it. The build is the best of the best NO COMPROMISES. When its all added up it ( and I have ) it would cost a lot more than I am asking and that doesn't factor in labour build cost or 10+ years of countless hours finding all the parts - all costed at Zero 🙂 I get its a hobby and the price all totted up gets people sucking in air, huffing and puffing. You can pick up a cheap Russian or Far East Ti frame and load it with LX ride the hell out of it and be happy.

Like I say, find me another the same ( no frame dents ) condition cheaper. If I have to split no problems with that either the parts work on high end builds and many are almost impossible to find. Sometimes higher value things sell better on the bay than here. As we all know 5-10years ago RB was awash with serious buyers.🙂

Challenge for you - find me cheap a FAT Ti 97 m/l ‘no dents’, a Morati Ti 26” canti boss Ti fork long steerer, a matched mint low miles set of CK Classic hubs in unfaded turquoise shimano cassette, Moots 130mm mid rise Ti stem and Moots Ti riser bar ? 🤔

If you prefer, I have listed the build components in the listing ( less the £££ chain ) , price it all up in mint/NOS cond shipped to the UK with links to current availability.
Just my opinion but you'll still own it in 6 months time if your wanting that money for it, the retrobike market has fell off a cliff and is no longer worth what it was a few years ago.you could hope for another lockdown though prices went crazy then

Anyone considering spending £11K is going to be communicating plenty with the seller anyway. They ain’t loosing interest for lack of spoon feeding.

What kind of house/car do you think this is equivalent to? You think that kind of buyer would be that indifferent?

Let’s be honest … nobody is spending £11k - we know it , seller knows it - etc. But to give yourself the best chance of obtaining the top money you’d add pictures and as much info needed for a buyer.

In terms of cars - I’d guess it’s equivalent to a classic Ferrari / Lamborghini or something possibly a little more obscure. I can’t imagine anyone selling any of those with a single picture - whilst asking double market value.

I’ve just sold my R8. Albeit lower end of the supercar (cough) market - the thing that sold it was the 50 pictures and proper description said the buyer. Didn’t even have to advertise it outside of a FB group as all the info was there.

@Spanky22b:
I think your nickname (spanky22b) does fit you well:
Your former English grammar teacher would probably "spank" you 22 times for writing such strange sentences full of mistakes.:LOL:
Therefore we all assume that English is probably not your first language! ;)
