Fat Chance Shock a Billy project

Some lovely refurbed yellow Judy SL's arrived today thanks to Niall (unit3), he sent me a very purple Risse air shock too but unfortunately it won't fit the bike as is.

I now have a pair of green Mitchelin Wildgrippers and a spare rear on the way for a bargain £44 all in thanks to the bay :)

Also thanks to eBay I have a very nice full set of silver Grafton Speed Controllers winging their way from Austria, not quite a bargain but sometimes you have to have what the heart desires!
Just hope they actually work as well as the M900's did on the very muddy test ride.

My last purchase pre paint is a pair of NOS fluoro green ODI Attack grips from Roly on here. They are going to really finish the bike off I think.

Sorry the Risse didn't work in the end mate :(

Getting quite excited to see this get painted

Thought about trying the yellow judy's with the purple?

Niall it's fine, just a shame ;)

I confess to having had a smattering of purple parts on my bikes in the early 90's but don't think I could do a purple bike. It's got to be aquafade, Rampage is anodising some topline/grafton cranks in the same turquoise as the king headset. I cannot wait to get it painted but think that'll be in Feb. Hope to get it out for a ride on it this Thursday.

I might even enter it as my first BOTM entry when done:)

The turquoise ano Toplines didn't work out, poor Rmapage tried to get them done for me but the cranks wouldn't take the ano so sticking with the E cranks in the darker blue.

The parts I have been waiting for have recently arrived, it's like Christmas already ;)

I'll run the bike as is this winter and save the bolting on of these parts until the paint is done. I absolutely love the grips, the green is amazing and should look great against the blue of the bars!

I'm still hoping to find some turquoise / blue or even green Ringle hubs or complete wheels. It's a keeper so I can hold out for the right parts ;)

Okay.. But just to let you know ;) I have some very tasty, newly built, NOS shiny silver Stheno rims, M900 hubbed wheels that might need a new home..
