Fat Chance Kickstarter

Re:

It's a modern Fat, what exactly were you expecting? Modern bikes have tapered or oversized head tubes as if they didn't you wouldn't be able to buy decent forks. Wasn't the modern Fat designed for suss with the rigid fork option added later?

At least try to make it look decent (look at the Ritchey tapered steerer headtube for example). Doesn't look as if somebody welded a beer-can in there...

Re:

To be fair, why would you compare a tapered head with a tapered fork in it with one with an adapter and 'wrong' size fork in it?

Re:

Keep talking Brocklanders....I'm getting schooled on modern bike design on this thread. He needs to broaden the crown of the new segmented forks and maybe use larger diameter tubes to give it better proportion. Agree, it will look better with modern front suspension ;)

A modern fat. That pushed the envelope, inspired, had an air of something special and thought out about it.

Its a lot of Money when a £350 Ragley has more to offer.

And if for Suspension Fork why the first pictures Show this mash up.

Its that crap you just wouldn't show it without a suspension fork surely.

Why after all the effort and support hes gained, would you show it......, why would you even paint it, let alone show it.

 I should have stayed in bed today.

Re:

Larger diameter legs, and segmented bits with a tapered steerer and internal headset. Would also stop it looking like there is so much of a massive gap above the tyre.
